For some time I have been a fan of the work of an New Jersey-based improv group called Improv Everywhere. This group has come up with some very interesting events where groups of people freeze in a crowded train station, show up at a mall and talk on “banana phones,” and give boat tours of New York City on an inflatable in a large fountain.
The impact that these events have are remarkable. They give people a heart-felt experience that I find very encouraging and uplifting.
We, the church, should be doing just that! And a group in Liverpool have (thanks to Bob Carlton for sharing this):
