Death and Resurrection… of the Church?

3108942911_3534d87fb7As the Body of Christ are we called to a death and resurrection.  The news continues to be discouraging with 86% of churches in decline, people in England asking for an annulment of their baptisms, and an increasing number of people claiming no religion at all.

If the church does “die” what will rise in its place?  What will the glorified body of the church look like; will it be something like the glorified body of Christ himself?  Perhaps we will be completely the same be wholly other, much like Jesus who could somehow hide his identity (Road to Emmaus) and appear behind locked doors, yet had hunger for fish and bread.

What do YOU think the church will be like?
