Troubled Week in Iran

Iran continues to experience trouble and protest in regard to the recent election that appears to have been rigged by those in power to continue the theocratic opression of the people there.  Iran has been one of those unknown parts of the world for me, and as I look at photographs of the struggle there my heart both breaks and leaps for joy in recognizing the freedom that we do have in the United States.

In case you have missed it, there is a media blackout in Iran.  However, internet utilities like Twitter and Facebook are still accessible and it is through those media that the story is getting to the rest of the world.  Find ways to show your support and stand for freedom of these people.
