Creation Evidence Expo

The expo is coming to Indianapolis September 18 and 19th. I plan to be there on Friday the 18th, but haven’t decided if I want to go as myself or with an Out campaign t-shirt. Any thoughts? Anyone else going?

“We at Creation Evidence Expo seek to bring change within the public school system across the United States by providing overwhelming evidence that the Genesis account of creation is the only viable and truthful explanation for the origin of man”

I wonder if there will be any speakers/displays proposing the Rubber Band Theory of Universal Attraction, to replace Newton’s law of universal gravitation.

Boz, stop that foolishness. We all know that the Flying Spaghetti Monster is pushing us all down with his many noodly appendages. It’s so obvious, isn’t it? I mean, just consider centrifugal force. Gravity doesn’t spin, but the FSM does, so naturally it is the FSM who spins in sync with the object, pushing it against the other object.

Aaron: In all seriousness, I would definitely consider going with the “Scarlet A” T-shirt. Whatever you would learn going to that expo, you could learn just as well regardless of what you wear. But only if you wear that T-shirt will you have a chance to experience the hypocrisy in the creation movement. Plus, I know you’ll write another hilarious blog post about it, and I wouldn’t want to miss out on that 🙂

I would have loved to go to that expo, but sadly I live all the way across the Atlantic. I hope you have fun, though, regardless of garment.

Could you please ask them to do it peer-reviewed? Now a t-shirt that said “If it is not peer-reviewed, it is not science” would be really cool! They don’t seem to get that.

Check that… the expo is actually the 19th through the 23rd (got the dates from a different site and did not confirm, ugh!)

Just got my very own scarlet A t-shirt in the mail today!
